Class Levels and Class Attire Requirements...

Combo Ballet/Tap/Tumble "Tiny Toes"
Ages 3-5. No previous training. Emphasis is on creative movement.

Pink Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Slippers, Black Tap Shoes

Combo Ballet/Tap/Jazz "Pre-Level"
Ages 5-7. Basic ballet steps and creative movement. One year in Tiny Toes required if age 5 for beginners.

Lavender Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Slippers, Black Tap Shoes

Combo Classes

Attached skirt optional. Tap shoes - Screw taps suggested, not mandatory. Oxford or Mary Jane tap shoes OK. Please no underpants. No jewelry. Hair tight and tidy bun

Ballet Level I
Ages 8-12. Basic ballet technique with little training.

Purple Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Slippers

Ballet Level II
Ages 12 and up. Beginner-intermediate with 3-4 years prior training.

Royal Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Slippers

Ballet Level III/IV
Ages 13 and up. Intermediate - Advanced with emphasis on pointe technique.

Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Slippers

Pointe

Pointe Ages 12 and up. Two Ballet classes required.

Black Wrap Skirt Optional.

Academic Ballet (leveled classes)
White alignment belt, tight fitting black dance sweater optional.

(Boys – black ballet slippers)

No jewelry – Small earrings ok.

Hair: Tight and tidy bun. No exceptions. (Hair should not touch eyes.)

Jazz
All Levels. Ages 8 and up.

Black Jazz Shoes, Tights, Black Jazz Pants or Shorts OK. Hair: bun or pony.

Tap
All Levels. Ages 8 and up.

Tap: Oxford style tap shoes. Hair: bun or ponytail.

Open Adult Classes
All Levels. Ages 16 and up. Non performing class.

Hip Hop
Ages 6-9. Beginner with no prior training

Ages 10-13. Beginner - Intermediate with 1-3 years prior training preferred

Ages 13+. Intermediate with 1-4 years prior training preferred

Comfortable dancewear. Leotard under preferred. Sweats and T-shirts OK. Knee pads. Tennis shoes or dance sneakers. Hair: ponytail

Tumble

Leotard with leggings or dance shorts over. Hair: ponytail

Musical Theatre
Ages 8-12 and 13 and up.

Comfortable dancewear. Leotard under preferred. Jazz Shoes.

Progressive Ballet Technique

Leotard with dance shorts ok. Bare feet. Hair: ponytail or bun

You will need yoga mat, tennis ball and Theraband

Dress requirements are necessary to help students receive the very best dance education we can provide.
