Sydney started college in the fall of 2024 at Lee University where she is double majoring in Musical Theatre and Biochemistry.  Sydney is continuing her education in dance, music, and theatre classes.  After her first year she is back teaching a class to still be a part of the Tempo family.

She started assisting in classes at The Tempo in 2015 and teaching in 2018 adding on several more classes in 2021.  Sydney loves sharing her knowledge with other Tempo Dancers.  Sydney has been with the Tempo since the summer of 2012.  Miss Darla has taken Sydney under her wing to help mold her into the dancer and teacher she is today.

Sydney started dancing when she was just two years old with ballet, adding on a new style of dance each year.  Sydney has studied in ballet, tap, jazz, tumble, hip hop, pointe, PBT, musical theatre, vocal, lyrical and contemporary.  Sydney was also a part of the Tempo Stars Competition Dance Team.  Sydney is excited to teach Musical Theatre/Jazz this year.

She loves performing and dancing.  Some of her favorite roles to perform were Fiona in Shrek Jr the Musical, Karen in Spongebob the Musical, and Peter Pan in Peter Pan the Musical.  This year in 2025 she played Fern in Castlewood with Lee University Theatre, Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense with Ocoee Theatre Company, and Windward/Dancer in The Little Mermaid with Ghostlight Entertainment, she is also dancing in Fiddler on the Roof this September with Ripple Theatre.  Sydney has also done choreography for Annie Kids and Nunsense and will be doing choreography for Parades of Favorites for Lee University this fall.
